Principals,

One of the hardest parts of leadership isn't setting expectations.

It's ensuring those expectations are consistently lived out by everyone, every day.

This week's WEBB Behavior Series is designed to help you reinforce that with your team.

Core Message (Shareable with Staff)

Most organizations talk about culture.

Few define behavior.

Even fewer reinforce it consistently.

And that's where culture breaks.

Because culture isn't built on statements.

It's built on standards.

And standards only matter when they are:

  • Seen

  • Modeled

  • Reinforced

If behavior doesn't match the expectation…

👉 The expectation isn't real.

Application

This week, choose one expectation you want to strengthen across your campus or team.

Then make it visible:

  • Model it intentionally

  • Name it when you see it

  • Address it when it's missing

Not harshly.
Not publicly.
But consistently.

Because consistency, not intensity, is what builds culture.

Quick Staff Reflection

You can share this directly with your team:

👉 What is one expectation we say matters,  but don't consistently see?
👉 What would it look like if we all committed to it this week?

Leadership Reflection

Culture is not built in meetings.

It's built in moments.

What you walk past…
What you reinforce…
What you model…

That's what your organization becomes.

If this is helpful, feel free to forward it to your staff or leadership team.

Each week, the WEBB Behavior Series will focus on turning values into visible, daily actions.
